With great enthusiasm, our company collaborated on the project “The Window on the Olives,” organized by the Terre di Coratina Association. This initiative aims to guide the third-grade students of primary schools in Corato, using creativity and imagination, to open a window onto our agricultural landscape, dominated by the green-silver canopies of olive trees.
With the children, we discussed the landscape heritage of the city of Corato, the process of obtaining extra virgin olive oil from the trees to the table, and they experienced the aromas and taste of fresh oil with a healthy snack of bread and oil. Finally, there was ample space for creativity with an art workshop on the theme “The Olive Trees and the Landscapes of the Murgia.”
The children were very enthusiastic and especially enjoyed the snack, forgetting all about pastries and chips!
